Like a lot of people, my first interaction with carpet was as a child. My uncle managed a large carpet store, and every time I went to visit, I remember it like a giant playground. Climbing up colourful carpet stands, running, jumping, and rolling myself in and out of every nook and cranny – it was so much fun. When he offered me a job at 14 to be the ‘Hoover Boy’ on the weekends to earn some extra pocket money, I jumped at the chance!

Proving myself as a reliable and hard-working individual, I was given more and more responsibility and soon made it to Sales Director. A few years down the line, I opened up my own shop. Having worked from the ground up, I thought I’d seen pretty much everything there is to see in the flooring industry. How wrong was I? The industry is constantly evolving. I love staying on top of trends and keeping up to date with the latest products. Only then can you offer all the best options available to a customer.
